Only under exceptional circumstances where a new act is highly reccomended by multiple members of The Gigometer’s advisory council, will an act which hasn’t been heard by a founding member of The Gigometer be listed on The Gigometer’s calendar.
As you can probably tell by now, the founding members of The Gigometer are passionate about ensuring that only the best quality gigs make it onto The Gigometer. As they don’t want their followers to every turn up to a gig and feel disappointed.
3. The Gigometer features a daily spotlight feature which shines a spotlight on special gigs
Each day The Gigometer’s staff will choose one gig which they feel is special in some way to highlight. This gig will feature boldface text. There are a few different reasons why a gig could be chosen as a spotlight gig. As an example, it could be hosted in an unusual venue or could feature an unusual, rare lineup, which is well worth attending.
4. The Gigometer features all the basic information which you need when you’re looking to attend a gig
For each listing, The Gigometer features the name of the act, the date of the gig, the venue of the gig, the start time of the gig and how much tickets cost. So you’ll be able to make an informed decision on whether or not attending a particular gig is a viable choice.
